Dental and health benefits are available after completing a 90 day probationary period. RSP program available after 6 months of continuous employment.
Requirements
Driver qualifications:
- Class 1 CDL
- Must be 25 years or older
- Meet FMCSA medical standards
- Minimum 3 years experience with step decks, tilt decks, multi-axles, RGN’s, trombone, heavy hauling
- Passport
- Minimum 1 year of border crossing experience
- Clean Commercial Driver’s Abstract
- Proven ability to conduct thorough vehicle inspections
- Ability to lift 50lbs regularly
- Ability to be away from home for 2 weeks at a time
Every driver is required to complete a Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Test as well as random testing throughout their employment with Marlowe Smith Trucking Ltd. We provide online training in the following areas: Commercial Vehicles, Hours of Service US & CDN, Safe Driving Practices, Directing Vehicles, Fatigue Management, and Wildlife & Environmental Awareness.
